Organiser:
The Long-Term Data Preservation Task Force
About the session
The Long-Term Data Preservation Task Force (LTDP TF) is addressing the complex issue of long-term preservation within the EOSC and seeks to propose clear, implementable recommendations at the European, national, and institutional levels.
This breakout session will start with a short overview of the TF approach on preservation in the context of EOSC concerning outcomes, systems, and actions with attention to the vision, roles, finance, and networks needed to deliver preservation for FAIR digital objects in the EOSC. The second part of the session will be an interactive discussion on the challenges and recommendations to address digital objects’ preservation through EOSC.
The session is chaired by Hervé L’Hours and Roxanne Wyns, the LTDP TF co-chairs. All participants are invited to partake in the discussion.
