Javier Lopez Albacete
Javier Lopez Albacete is a Policy Officer at the European Commision’s Directorate for Research and Innovation. Javier works in the Open Science Unit, where he contributes to advance policies for Open Science, most notably the reform of research assessment and the development of the EOSC. Before joining the European Commission in 2021, Javier served as scientific officer in the European Research Council Executive Agency (2017-2021). Javier is PhD in physics, and is presently on leave from his Associate Professor position at the Department of Theoretical Physics of Universidad de Granada, Spain.
