Achievements on Monitoring of EOSC and Open Science LIVESTREAMED
About the session
The three parties, the European Commission, the EOSC Steering Board, and the EOSC Association are engaged in monitoring the uptake of Open Science and respective contributions to the EOSC. The monitoring covers aspects relevant to the contributions by the three parties which correspond to the three levels of EOSC implementation (European, national, and institutional levels). The aim is to provide baselines, trends and best practices to support the expansion of the EOSC ecosystem and reward the uptake of open science practices in Europe.
The EOSC Association is, as the Commission’s partner in the Horizon Europe Partnership, tasked to formulate a reference monitoring framework, based on the general, specific, and operational objectives of their strategic agendas, allowing the progress to be tracked, towards achieving the specific Partnership goals. The EOSC Steering Board expert group is engaged with monitoring the overall EOSC strategic development and implementation. This session gives an overview of the achievements on Monitoring of EOSC and Open Science.
