About the session
In this session, we will hear how EOSC Future and five other H2020 projects C-SCALE, DICE, EGI-ACE, OpenAIRE Nexus, Reliance (the so called INFRAEOSC07 projects) are working to enrich EOSC with resources and services from a wide range of national, regional and institutional infrastructures throughout Europe. In particular in the session they will highlight their contribution to the EOSC Exchange, including resources/services that have already been onboarded, and their benefits to communities – and plans for future onboarding.
About EOSC Future and the INFRAEOSC07 projects:
- EOSC Future aims to deliver the core services of EOSC and some resources for the EOSC Exchange.
- C-SCALE is enhancing the EOSC Portal with pan-European federated data and computing infrastructure services for Copernicus.
- DICE is providing cutting-edge data management services and corresponding back-end resources for the EOSC.
- EGI-ACE is delivering the EOSC Compute Platform and contributing to the EOSC Data Commons through a federation of Cloud compute and storage facilities, PaaS services and data spaces with analytics tools and federated access services.
- OpenAIRE-Nexus is integrating into EOSC a set of scholarly communication services that will assist in publishing research, monitoring its impact and helping promote its discovery.
- RELIANCE is extending the research-enabling capabilities of EOSC with an enhanced support for multidisciplinary research, particularly in Earth Science, aligned with the EOSC Interoperability Framework.
Relevance for EOSC
Discovering new services and resources may lead to new scientific innovations and will boost the efficiency of the scientific work and support the reproducibility of science.
