FAIR Metrics & Data Quality
Organiser:
Carlo Lacagnina, BSC
About the session
Conformity assessments need to be set in place to assure researchers that the infrastructures where they deposit and access data conform to clear rules and criteria. If researchers feel a loss of control and visibility, or have concerns about how professionally their data will be managed, additional barriers to data sharing will emerge. This breakout session will rise awareness about the importance of data quality for EOSC and will discuss the cross-TFs challenges at the interface between long-term data preservation, semantic interoperability and data quality.
